Official Announcement - Changes to Your Affiliate Agreement
January 13th, 2010
Dear Affiliates:
All of us at CraziesCash hope that you had a joyous Holiday Season. Thank you for being part of the CraziesCash Team. Cheers to a Happy and Prosperous 2010.
As you are aware and per our terms and agreement, we reserve the right to periodically update our Affiliate Agreement without notice. We did so, to a minor extent on January 23, 2007. However, this email is to inform you of a specific addition made to Section XII with respect to our Intellectual Property Rights.
We have discovered that some affiliates have been purchasing adwords or other keyword advertising containing our trademarks. We can understand your desire to maximize traffic to your websites, to therefore maximize your payouts. However, we have made a determination that this practice is not something we are willing to accept anymore. To explain: Think of it this way: If you purchase our AllOver30 trademark as a keyword, you are essentially buying traffic that our already-established trademark should garner. When you attract a customer through that keyword, and then sell that customer back to us, it is like you are earning a commission on a sale that we should have made without you.
Any affiliate who is currently doing this must do the following:
1. Report to us that you have been doing so.
2. Cease and desist within 30 days.
If you report that you have done so to us, we will neither penalize you nor drop you from the program. We are offering a complete and total amnesty to any affiliates who may have mistakenly engaged in this kind of commercial behavior. We presume the best of you, and we are not seeking defendants in a lawsuit, but we want to be able to compile data on how many affiliates were doing so.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. However, no response is required as all modifications or changes to this Agreement are in force and enforceable immediately upon posting.
Best Regards,
Team CraziesCash
